(Day 1) The day after // 13th November 2020

So this day was tough. It was actually awful, not just tough.

I don’t remember the last time I’ve been in this much physical pain.

I only slept 2 hours and the pain I was in during the night and throughout the day was like very few things I’ve experienced before. I tried to rest, sleep, nap, and it was almost impossible. I kept looking at my watch just hoping it was time for more drugs.

Me trying to sleep only to be “woken up” by the shooting pain a few secs later

I was not a pleasant person at all. My best friend kept trying to cheer me up (with cookies and chocolate) and that helped. Honestly, I can not put into words how thankful I am for the help I’ve had during this first few days.

I didn’t eat much but managed to still drink a lot of water. Only managed to eat a couple of cookies and I was so excited about them =(

Deliveries arrived for a couple of last minute useful things, including my shower stool and a wheelie stool that was recommended by Jess (thank you Jess, what an awesome idea!)

My day consisted of getting out of bed to go to the loo, and come back. Managed to eat a fairly good dinner but that was it.

Everytime I tried to concentrate on a conversation I just wouldn’t be able to. I have not been able to read or watch anything because I’m too tired to keep up with any kind of storyline.

I had to keep reminding myself this is probably one of the worse days and I just need to get through it.

But yes… bad bad day.
